Ron joined the Firm in 1992 and is a Shareholder in the litigation group. He has litigated a wide variety of commercial, construction, real estate and zoning disputes, shareholder and employment litigation, banking and collections in State and Federal Courts and in private and American Arbitration Association proceedings.
Ron graduated from Denison University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1986. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Vanderbilt University in 1989. While at Vanderbilt, Ron served as the Executive Authorities Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law and authored “Property Damage Claims Against the Customs Service: Are There Adequate Remedies?” 22 Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law, 385, 1989.
Ron previously practiced law in Charlotte, North Carolina (1989 to 1992) and is a member of both the Michigan and North Carolina State Bars. Since the mid 1990’s, Ron has been active in the development of youth rugby in Michigan serving as a high school rugby coach and President of the Michigan Youth Rugby Association.
